Spark Plugs
The spark plugs allow your car to start. These are small coils placed in each cylinder of the engine. When you start your ignition, the spark plugs ignite the fuel-air combination in the engine to get things started. They are fundamental to starting the car, which is why you need to be paying attention to their condition and making replacements to them as needed. Even just one bad spark plug can cause problems with the ignition system. It will mess up how your engine is running. The spark plugs can go bad over time for a variety of reasons. Sometimes, oil can be present on the spark plugs that cause this. There could be corrosion or they could become burned over time. Of course, they might simply wear out due to time passing. There are a range of signs you can look out for that might indicate spark plug wear and tear. One is poor fuel economy. A drop in fuel economy that is noticeable could be coming from worn plugs. Your engine might misfire as well. These signs occur once the coils in the spark plugs begin to wear down and indicate its time to replace them. Find OEM Honda and Acura spark plugs here on our site.
